It is made in your choice of 6mm birch plywood or oak veneer. 
 
The plywood is wonderful for decorating in your own choice of colours, using left over paint from your home decorating, or with some art paints or a wall paint tester pot of your choice. 
 
The oak veneer is better if you want the natural look, allowing the natural grain of the wood to show.
